# About Zenith

### What is Zenith?

Zenith represents a revolutionary decentralized exchange (DEX) and liquidity marketplace within the BSC blockchain ecosystem. Serving as a dynamic hub, Zenith facilitates a range of activities for users and DAOs, including seamless token swapping, earning $ZEN as a liquidity provider, receiving voter incentives, and influencing emission direction for optimized trading revenue.

### Our Journey

The inception of Zenith stems from a team deeply immersed in the DeFi landscape, fueled by a commitment to innovation. Our journey was shaped by the emergence of Solidly, a platform that inspired us with its potential while highlighting areas for enhancement. Motivated by the success stories of platforms like THENA and Velodrome in the Solidly ecosystem, we embarked on the creation of Zenith—a DEX designed to offer advanced features with a strong community-centric focus.

### Zenith Ethos

Vision Zenith envisions a transformation in decentralized finance (DeFi), fostering inclusivity and innovation to shape a fair global economy. Our vision is centered around elevating DeFi through sustainable, community-driven practices, breaking down geographical and socio-economic barriers to establish a universally accessible financial ecosystem.

### Mission

Our mission is to revolutionize DeFi by providing a user-friendly, transparent, and secure liquidity layer. Zenith aims to empower every DeFi participant, ensuring easy and confident access to our platform. With a focus on community-centric values and a nurturing environment, Zenith is dedicated to leading DeFi innovation, making it more accessible and advantageous for all.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://zenith-1.gitbook.io/zenith/protocol-overview/about-zenith.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
